Cybersecurity Festival at UG
On 19th of May, the University of Georgia hosted a Cybersecurity Festival. The event was held for the first time. Students of institutions of higher education, including public and private schools, participated.
The following issues were discussed:
· Strategy, policy and development of cybersecurity;
· New challenges of cybersecurity, hybrid wars;
· Cybersecurity and Georgia;
· Legal aspects of cyberspace, cybercrimes;
· Technical course of cyberspace;
· Elements of cybersecurity in business;
· Other interesting issues regarding the topic.
In the framework of the festival several seminars, discussions and masterclasses were conducted by different local and foreign guest speakers. Global Cyber Alliance representative joined in on the discussion via a video call. By the end of the festival it is planned to publish a scientific journal about Internet Technologies. This festival will be held annually.
